- Manual data entry and post‑visit reconciliation create delays and errors between field notes, work orders, and system records.
- Captured photos and serials often fail to link to the correct Dynamics 365 asset or work order, undermining data integrity.
The Solution.
- Ingest webhook events from XOI containing scan metadata, images, and context.
- Match scanned identifiers against Dataverse asset records to ensure accuracy.
- Automate creation or updating of asset and work‑order links in Dynamics 365.
- Surface and log unmatched scans for manual triage and ongoing matching improvements.
